How I Started:
I was a cross country runner in high school and stayed moderatly active through college. Once I got married, I also became sedentary, and after a few years and a couple of babies, I don't just want my old body back... I want my best body ever.
Why I Love It:
I really just haven't felt like me overweight, and am eager to have more energy.
How I Stay Motivated:
I have just begun, but I will let my actions speak louder than my words. I want to live being the me that I strive for.

OMG I hate/love this picture. The only reason I love it is because you can DEFINITELY see how far I have come. ALmost 200 pounds here! I lost weight after this, then get pregnant again, and had to start all over...

hey lady! glad to hear you're hanging in there. Running in the heat is something I am no stranger to. It's 116 here. :( It's usually 90degrees by 9am. YUCK! Can't wait to see some pics, girl! Keep it up.
If you like running in the heat, you ought to move to Texas! Last Saturday we hit 102 by 1:30 and the heat usually peaks after 3PM! This and we just started July (Aug/Sep are hotter)!

i know what you mean...i DONT run, so if i did 3 miles, that'd be a HUGE accomplishment. but I am gonna try to do a 5k June 13th. (i did track, however I am a SPRINTER, not distance!) LOL Good job girl!!!

hey girl! Thanks for the add:) Actually I've never really done that much cardio lol I think the most I've done is 4 days a week, and I think that lasted less than a month. I used to do 30 minutes of it before I learned of the HIIT, and now that's what I'm doing as of this week lol
I know...I just get into a "phase" of making excuses for eating bad "just once more" before I really get GOING on my plan...hahaha. what a joke. This is the thinking that got me into this fat mess in the first place! I will get back on the horse though and try try again ;) Not much else to do. I need a workout partner to bust my butt and make me NOT miss the gym...
you're so right. ppl with no kids have it made! I remember those days...2 hour workouts and not having to go home and make dinner and give baths and do homework...lol. ahhhh, those were the days ;) I've been bingeing really bad the last two weeks...it sucks. I can't really shake it right now. I ate like 3 bowls of lucky charms this morning!?!?! WTF? I feel really bad now too.
