I wasn't strong enough for a good physical fitness score in the Marine Corps, and all the other Marines were noticeably stronger than I. With the knowledge my mother passed on to me about bodybuilding, I made a New Years resolution in January 2006 to change my life, just look how far I have come.
Why I Love It:
Girls love it, guys envy it, and people respect it. The implications of bodybuilding are endless; focus, physique, and happiness are just the beginning. You can never complete bodybuilding, just improve. Therefore it is the ultimate way of displaying progression.
How I Stay Motivated:
New gyms, new equipment, new ideas, and new gym buddies. Also reminding myself that this level of discipline is nothing compared to preparing yourself to go to combat in Iraq. Oh yeah - Contests help too.
BB Accomplishments:
I am where I want to be today because of bodybuilding. My job, my friends, my income, and my growth correlate directly with it. I can only imagine what progress will bring...
My goal is to always improve my body, every month, every year, a new me. I began as a very thin ecto-morph of 153 Lbs, my goal is to be 220 lbs at 8% bodyfat one day and remain natural.

^^awesome
I must respectfully and humbly disagree that my transformation is greater than yours. I know what it takes to get a body to where you have taken yours and you have pushed yourself to places I don't know if I would go.
Your physique shows that you have not given in to pain and have broken through barriers naturally, that have broken others.
You have proven that it is not more than you can handle. It is merely more than you thought you could.
I want to compliment you on your exceptional physique. It took an incredible amount of hard work along with blood, sweat and tears to build and you are to be congratulated. So many look at you and that inspires them to try to at least get to the next level. You are a wonderful role model and a great inspiration to so many others, including me. Good luck at Vancouver. Stay strong, focused and determined and may God bless.
Im hoping to be ready for the 2010 Oregon Ironman. I came in pretty lean but only weighed 191-192ish. Im hoping to come in for the next Ironman at 198 while being as lean as I was for 7 Feathers. Im shooting for that Novice Overall !
