Did a little lifting in college, then nothing for a loooong time. Decided it was simply time to get healthy... now I'm addicted to iron and want to gain as much muscle mass as I can. I get grumpy when I can't get to the gym.
Why I Love It:
Stress relief & constant challenge.
How I Stay Motivated:
Look in the mirror. I have a long way to go.
BB Accomplishments:
Just getting started was an accomplishment for me. But seriously, I was 35%+ bodyfat in September of 2004. I've come a good distance and have more muscle now than I've ever had in my life. No secrets, nothing special. Just hard work, and trying to watch what I eat... but not so much that I can't enjoy life, too.
I just want to tell folks that if I can make progress, so can you.

I am PROPTA certified Personal trainer. Since I still don't know so much people here and havn't got a network yet maybe you can pass my name on to friends and people you know that likes to stay fit and train.
Have a great day!!
sounds like you are right on target with your training...sometimes our bodies just need a change of pace to wake it up a little. Am I picture happy, ha, well haven't been taking very many cause I'm not in the shape I wanna be yet, progress pics will come in a month or two. Have a great week!
Thank you sweetie. When I wrote it I never thought of it as inspiring or otherwise. I still take each day at a time and hope to be almost pain free someday.
hey dude
how you doing?? I see the training is still going well. I have got to get back to my journal lol. I had a hand / grip injury that took me out the picture for a bit. but all is well now.
thx for dropping by :)
Great to see you here sir! How goes it? Have you been on this one for long? I like the folks on Lift For Life a lot. Small, good group of people, so far.
I am still in Nampa. I have offers to go east to Boise all of the time though am pretty rooted here. I am chairman of my dept and quite involved in the day to day business, not to mention I would have a hard time leaving my patients. I don't know that I will stay forever though my kids are in private school here and we have four generations. You look great. Take care and thanks for stopping by. Keep in touch.
WOW Mark look at you, I just love that avatar pic, you look awesome! Thanks for the compliment on the dresses, I sure hope I can make some improvements by the time I hit Vegas, feeling pretty soft and fluffy lately, I REALLY need to lean out some! Thanksgiving was nice and relaxing, didn't have to make the dinner for a change cause we went to my Sisters. Just crazy busy these days kind of hard to stick to anything argh! Send me a PM with updates when you get the chance!
