How I Started:
I was tipping the scale at a little over 200 lbs and was feeling it in my knees - that's when I knew I had to do something about my weight. I joined the gym slowly, going about 2-3 days a week (if that) and I even hit the period where I didn't go at all. Then, with my divorce looming - I found comfort in the gym and began to hit it hard. I changed the way I ate and even started with a trainer.
Why I Love It:
I love working out because I love the rush I get afterwards. I love the way it makes me feel mentally and physically. Plus knowing that I won't have to struggle to fit into my jeans or my knee-high boots and the look on my fiance's face everytime he sees me - that's a bonus!
How I Stay Motivated:
For starters, having a partner that is into fitness as much as me (if not more) definitely helps. It's a constant competition between us and it keeps it fun. I also keep a picture of myself at my heaviest at hand to remind me of where I've been and never want to return. I must also say - MY HEELS! I love wearing heels and I couldn't do that when I was 200 lbs.
BB Accomplishments:
I would have to say losing over 45 lbs! I've managed to lose the weight and keep it off for over a year and I'm proud of myself for that. Now I would like to tighten up more and make my body more solid!

I want to have more muscle definition, defined abs, more strength & endurance in my traps/back since I work at a computer all day. I'd love to build my endurance to run further and longer outdoors.
I also need to learn to control my cravings for sweet and salty better.
