Weightlifting was a big part of our sport. I started at about age 7 with compound exercises and have been lifting ever since. Seriously, since I was 12.
Why I Love It:
I am good at almost everything, but I am great at weightlifting. It makes you better in every aspect of life.
How I Stay Motivated:
I am addicted so motivation is not a problem.
"The mind is the key to greatness, what you think you can't do, you can't, but free your mind and see no limit's, no fear, nothing is impossible." -Justin Cochrane
BB Accomplishments:
Benching 385 lbs once, curling 90 lbs for concentration curls once, doing 40 reps of dips with 4 45lbs plates of weights on my legs.
Forum Signature:
"When I step foot to my locker and change my shoes for training, it's like turning on a switch. I become a creature, not a human. I look to tear apart anyone and everyone in my way to hugeness and don't care how I do it. I can feel my heart start jumping and my body saying "beat me into the ground" like a red-headed step child. "I want punishment. I want to be a freak, a freak I tell you." BB.com
Get above 4 plates on each side, to about 400 or 415 pounds on bench press.
Goal (Long):
Long term I would like to be able to bench 5 plates per side (475) and compete in a powerlifting competition. I am also aiming at entering our provincial bodybuilding championships this year or next.
What celebrity body would you most like to have? Why?
None, I want to be unique and I used to have a body better than most, also if you get to big you look stupid anyway :)

Have you ever had a lifting injury?
Yes
What type of injury was it? How long were you injured? How did you recover?
Back, bicep, chest, abs, all torn muscles up to five weeks, I rested it to recover, all you can do really, and start back in easy.

What is the most common reason that somebody gets injured while lifting?
Too heavy of a weight, bad form, and dumb variations of exercise, that and not knowing when to end your workout. I.e. biceps is a small muscle group don't train it for 3 hours a day 3 times a week.
I haven't been able to do anything for the last month since I tore/strained my abdominals again. (soft tissue Damage)
I feel like I have gained about 15 pounds, and since this is my second abdominal tear in less than 6 months I am a little worried about returning to early this time,...
Note: Most days I also perform cardio for a total of 30-60 mins at an extremly high intensity, as well as 15 min abs curcuit with about 10 sec rest between sets.
Note: Occasional days I throw in pyramids, supersets and drop sets depending on...
