my boys (deonte, big mike, and skyline) offered me to come over and hit some weights with them and i was around 250 lbs at the time and didnt have any weightlifting experience so when i did i felt so pumped up i couldnt stop...i remember that they only had 80 lbs on the bench to build up stamina and i couldnt stop lifting and i did 400 reps in all...i loved the burn
Why I Love It:
i love watching myself transform, i love the burn, the looks from my friends and my beautiful fiance(sharon)...it just pumps me up to push myself harder and harder and break goals constantly
How I Stay Motivated:
Sharon motivates me, she doesnt too much like me doing it but she supports me just the same, which means the world to me...deonte also motivates me, he is my workout buddy and is one step ahead of me and he also helps me push myself
BB Accomplishments:
my arms went from 13 inches to 15 inches in the last year alone...ive went from 250 lbs (hardly any muscle) to 175 with pretty good bit of muscle
Description: i am doing hammer curls with a dumbbell between 43 and 45 lbs including dumbbell and plates...the weight is light but i have tendonitis so i must not use much weight
shadow boxing
Played: 37
Description: just messing around throwing a few punches
i have been eating high protein and low calories the last few weeks and i have so far taken my waist down 2 inches and i have been doing 6-10 reps on everything to build some last minute muscle and starting today i am going no less than 15 reps per set..im ready to tone up so yall better watch...
Yeah, I've been out for a while. Pulled my back and a house full of sick kids took me out too. Will need to get back in. Good to hear of your progress. Congrats!
I hadn't done that particular workout in three or four days, but I'd worked out other muscle groups three of those four days...so, it depends on how you look at it, but I only had one completely off day, and I worked related muscles during most of the other workouts. It may just be that my body is still getting use to the regular exertion after having taken 5 weeks off.
Hey Justin. Yeah, I saw and commented on the nice development you've got goin on there. As for what I did, I worked on chest and shoulders yesterday, but may not have waited long enough between workouts. As they go, it was "ok," but I was a little weak and sore from the last one, so couldn't push as hard as usual. Live and learn. :-)
Hey man. Yup. I've reduced the weight I'm lifting for several exercises. I've found that while I "can" lift, press (whatever) more, I can get more out of the process if I use less and really focus. This also gives me a better pump and burn, so I may be on to something for myself. In answer to your questions, though, I'm using 20# each side for lat raises.
Very good progress in the last year. Broader shoulders, very good arms from delts to forearms, much thicker pecs and tighter midsection. '08 could be your year for all your goals to be reached. Andre
I KNOW you can do it, Justin. Seems as if you have great focus, and based on what you've said about what your lifting, sounds like you've got good strength too. Just keep at it, Man. Your muscles are poppin' now. If you drop the BF you want, you'll be beating admirers away.
Hey Justin! Thanks so much for remembering. Actually, I'm doing MUCH better. There's still some soreness, but it's just that...normal workout soreness, not pain. I'm back to working out again, and feeling much more motivated again. YEAH! How are you doing, Man?
Hey Justin, Keep up with as much cardio as you can do, and eat all of the protein you can get. Just stay away from fat and carbs. Chicken and fish are the best foods.
Have a great 08 Clem
Cool new shots, Justin. Congrats on putting the tendinitis behind you. How long did that take...for you to totally heal, that is? I ask cause I'm still feeling some pain. Regardless, your new pics show you looking really solid. Nice work.
