How I Started:
I was gaining weight and my coffee and sugar diet wasn't cutting it!!
Why I Love It:
Many reasons...it feels amazing to accomplish a workout knowing you gave it your all and you will be sore within hours, it can motivate others to see you make a plan and stick to it, and i love to help others, and it feels really weird to feel my arm and realize that, that arm with muscle is really mine... lol!! wow, who would of known...
How I Stay Motivated:
I think there is a part of me that can't wait to see how I will look after 3 years or 5 years of lifting...so that helps. Seeing others transform here on bodyspace, knowing that this sport allows me to be a more active mom to my three children, and of course, my friends, lovejones596, amyrose, my trainer, my workout partner, and many of you on bodyspace.
BB Accomplishments:
No offense, Trophies and placings, though nice, seem secondary...what matters most to me is supporting those that want to make a change in their lives... both spiritually and physically

What type of nutrition plan are you currently following? Give full details.

do not follow form from people you see at the gym. Hire a trainer or refer to a solid source for proper form.

So, Now that I am dedicated to doing more cardio and have decided to just learn to "be," I wouldn't be me if I didn't challenge myself to something during the process.

So here goes:

For the next 30 days I will:

1) read my Bible daily

2) encourage someone in fitness...

sounds great jul! what a tough path you have recently walked, it sounds as though things may be taking a smoother course. Just finished my boards. I am officially and RD! I have not thought of competition lately b/c I am loving focusing on this area right now...BUT I am still working out religiously and loving it! I will post a new blog this week! Sorry, my 5/24 marathon is in Burlington, VT... the Vermont City Marathon, VCM. Last year I deffered my entry in the International marathon, from Niagara Falls NY to Niagara Falls, Ontario. It is in late October. I plan to run in it this October.
