When I Started:

How I Started:
Long story short, I decided to walk the Susan G. Komen 3-Day 60 mile walk to help women who are affected by breast cancer. My friend and I raised over 10K for such a great cause. That jump started my motivation to stay in shape and be fit for my family. I added weight training and boot camps. Finally, I was looking for someone to guide me in nutrition and working out to my fullest potential. That is when I found Cathy Savage Fitness on-line and joined! I competed for the first time at age 38 (and placed!!). I feel/look better at 39 than I did at 29!!
Why I Love It:
It's something the entire family can participate in and I love seeing the results eating clean and working out hard can do.
How I Stay Motivated:
Wanting to stay a fit mom and competitive woman.

No
Why or why not?

Have you ever had a lifting injury?
Yes
What type of injury was it? How long were you injured? How did you recover?
pinched nerve in back...had to lay low and even see a chiropractor...seemed to get better.
Just wanted to show Bodyspace that I do have full-time job...LOL and anything else I do is just part-time...but I like to do both equally as well....that is why fitness and nutrition are such big parts of our family.....from my hubby to my little ones....we are all active and encourage...
Great AVI- got that hot semi southern look with that hat and just overall hot with everything else! Just noticed it and thought I'd stop in and say hey. With school in full swing how do you keep looking so great!
You're right, to have fun and to be happy is what it's all about - but I bet looking like you're in your 20's with a world class bod makes it easier. Hope you and the family are well! Take care
