How I Started:
Used to be a heavy smoker (1.5 packs/day) and eventually was able to quit. About half a year later, I got a home gym as an early Christmas present, started there and was hooked. Once I outgrew it, I moved on to a real gym and have been loving it.
Why I Love It:
Mental focus has skyrocketed, the pump found immediately after lifting is unbeatable, and the looks...the looks I get are terrific. As a result, my personal level of confidence has gotten better.
How I Stay Motivated:
Pictures, seeing how other people that were the same as myself have bulked up significantly. Also, at this point, one look at the mirror gets me motivated enough to work out...I love the feeling of exhaustion post workout, and the pumps feel great.
BB Accomplishments:
Putting up 2 sets of 160 lbs on flat bench 6 times; putting up 180 lbs on flat bench w/ dumbbells 6 times. Also, putting up 60 lbs 8 times on dumbbell skullcrushers.
My goal now is to hit 185 lbs, then go on a cutting diet and get back down to 175-180. Wanting to do this in the next couple months; I've been making very steady weight gains the last couple weeks, so it should be very doable.
