How I Started:
My dad was a huge influence, for a korean man being 5"10 and about 225 pounds is huge around here, he wasnt 225 fat but more like body strength old school style without having cuts instead having enormous arms and chest back legs. He was involved in martial arts for about a quarter of his life so he was used to brutal training.
he influenced me a lot and then when i was little i watched terminator 2 so arnold came into play.

How I Stay Motivated:
Up until now I was very on and off, I would do some minor lifting nothing that made a real difference from what I saw, but recently I just wanted to change myself both body and mind and focus on what needs to be done. The body is not easy what so ever but I would say it is way easier than the mind so I am taking it one step at a time.
Also I am into MMA and Judo so that keeps my motivated.
But what really helped me a lot was the movie "Run Fat Boy Run" it is a really good movie, it actually got me to start running and I havnt really jogged in about 3 years or so.

Goal (Long):
I just want to make sure that I am fit to carry on whatever job or goal is in my way.
As of right now I am starting to look towards EMT//PARAMEDIC//FIRE FIGHTER as a career and I have a lot of things to overcome such as size/strength/race/ and about 3000 other people who try to apply to each city.
So gotta prepare!
thats whats up man, ive been training since i was 9(you talkin bout martial arts right?) this weight lifting stuff i didnt start until 07. but i took some yrs off from martial arts to do other stuff ive been getting back into it hopefully i can compete in a martial arts tournament by 2011
yes sir. bj is nuts. he was my favorite fighter behind fedor and wand but now i'm not sure how much i like the dude. he can be such a poor sport. i actually took down the autographed fokai shirt i had on my wall after that fight. damn i didn't know it caused his merch to drop though! i'll buy a pair of his shorts if its cheap. only cuz it makes me look like a black belt. and lol at dropping to your weight. what about a catch weight!
