When I Started:
Mar, 2005
How I Started:
first i start streatch to get the muscles relaxed and ready to be worked. then i do a cardio work out by doing jump rope, bike, laders, anything to get the heart pump'n. then i warm up the shoulders wiht light weight. after all of that i start my hade core work out.
Why I Love It:
its my major way of meating new people and reaching new opertunities. i love working out because it not only physicaly helps me but also mentaly helps me. same goes for school work. whe you reach a goal that you set for yourself it makes your feel god and more confident(stronger). as you grow stronger you relizewhat your doing and what your there for wich in the long term it helps you grow physicay AND mentaly. make you set higher goals for yourself. i also love to work out because it keeps you in the best shape in your life. again, makes you feel good. i look at the bright side of life and keep going. i keep my body strong and conditioned fro the sports that i do as an athlete. and thats why i love body building.
How I Stay Motivated:
i stay motivated by litening to the music i love. mostly metal and rape. its what gives me an adrenialn rush in the weight room. you al proly know what you reap is what you so: a thought turns into and action, a action turns into an habit, a habit turns into a hobby, and a hobby turns into a life style.when i was in 7th grade i would go to the hi school and lift weigts with the bigger guys. seeing that the they were bigger than me i said to myself that i will(WILL) be stronger than them when im in hi school. i would always push my body to the limits. again, in the long turn will mentaly make you strong.
well i stopped drinking soda and eating junk food. it's helped me in my daily activities; morning run, play foot ball with the guys, swim,etc... I've been more motivated in the weight room. today i did upper body. bench i did 3 sets of 5; 145, 160, 185. did some shoulders with dumbbells ....
nice bench for just a freshman. when i was a sophmore i weighed 120 lbs and benched 225. and now my max is 220 and i weigh 162. the lesson here, dont quit lifting. keep working hard.
i used to lift steadily in high school for wrestling. after wrestling was over i quit for a while. now i'm back at it. started going to the gym regular again last year. main goal is to get to around 165-170 lbs and ripped. how about you?
