My Workout Philosophy View My Full Workout Program

My workout focuses on strength and mass gains. I go up in weight every week on each exercise.

Day 1 (Legs)

 

Barbell Squat:

1x10

1x8 (+weight)

1x6 (+weight)

 

Leg press:

2x10

1x8 (+weight)

 

Leg extension

2x10

1x8 (+weight)

 

Leg curl (seated)

2x10

1x8 (+weight)

 

Romainian deadlift (nearly straight leg)

3x10

 

Day 2 (Chest)

 

-Warm-up: Push-ups: 2x15

 

Barbell bench press:

1x10

2x8 or 1x8 and 1x6 (+weight to both)

 

Dumbell incline bench press:

2x8

1x6 (+weight)

 

Barbell decline bench press:

2x8

1x6 (+weight)

 

Cable crossovers:

2x10

1x8 (+weight)

 

Machine flies: (superset/ alternate both arms and one arm)

1x10 (both arms)

1x8 (single arm)

  • I recently tore my acl so I'm down for a couple weeks.. I have surgery this Tuesday but I won't be able to squat or anything like that for a couple months

TroyGuy Hey Jonathan, sorry for the delayed response. Been focused on work and now the holidays. Yes, I have added mass and I'm shocked at my weight gain. It doesn't show much in the mirror, but the pictures do not lie. I'm still gaining weight and seeing my abs pop and body fat drop. Happy about this actually since my focus has been symmetry and not fat loss. Dec 25, 2012 1:04pm
