Overall Goal: I lost 106 pounds after a long recovery from a fractured vertabrae and ruptured disk. I was honored when BB.com selected me for Transformation of the Week! I am taking it to the next level using SteveP78's plan to now put on 20 pounds of muscle!
Fit Status:
1st month out on my new program- up 5 pounds and am staying strong and focused.
While attending univeristy 18 years ago, one of my core requirements was to to take a physical education class. On the first day of class, I found out that I was the only science geek in the class which was made up mostly of the Marshall University football team. I had never lifted a weight in my life. I was intimidated, scared and expected to be made fun of and treated badly. I couldn't have been MORE WRONG. They took me under their wing, motivated me to do well in the class and inspired me to never give up and to never quit!. It was a life changing experience. After the class was over, I continued lifting and had an awesome workout buddy. He was a preacher, bodybuilder great friend and mentor. I will always be grateful to all of them and am forever a Marshall University Thundering Herd Fan. How lucky I was!!. From that point on, I made training a part of my life.
Why I Love It:
Love to keep in shape. Like seeing the results. Great stress reliever. Mind, body and spiritual balance.
How I Stay Motivated:
After a long recovery from a broken vertebrae and a ruptured disk, I Changed my attitude from "WHY ME?" into "WHAT AM I GOING TO DO ABOUT IT". Once I put my mind to something I stick with it. Ask anyone who knows me.
All the great people here who are guiding me along the way. A big thanks!
My Life credos that I follow:
"Pray, hope and don't worry"
"Put out the good and it will return to you tenfold"
"Nothing good or bad Lasts forever"
"Nothing is impossible"

This is me at my worst at 270 pounds wearing a 2XL sweater that is too small with 44 relaxed fit jeans that are too small also. This was my turning point to lose weight and to get back into shape again.
After 1 month using Stevep78's program.
Current weight 169 pounds with a 5 pound gain up from 164.

Stephanie has supported me from day one of my transformation. She kept me motivated through my journey and still continues! Couldnt have gone as far as I have without the help and support of friends like her. How lucky and blessed I am.
Larry!

Thanks brother for all of your great advice about supplements as well as giving me workout routines that wont hurt my bad back. Much appreciated brother! Ciao!

I have been to the Bally on Preston several times for training. However, since I am no longer working for Bally, I am working out at Lifetime Fitness and 24 Hour Fitness. Let me know when you are in town; maybe I can get a pass to workout at Bally.
Hey Joe: The diet's killing me. . . really feeling depleted of energy. Thinking about reintroducing moderate carbs--not sure the low-key ketosis is really working for me.
HI ! Joe ! My hand is growing very fast, this morning Dr. began taking stiches out, and declared that everything is above ecpectationes, I´ll begin training the hand right away, and then full gym activity the weekend.
