Overall Goal: Motivating folks to meet the challenge! Increase the weight lifted which results in more muscle growth. Maintain an effective, consistent cardio routine.
Fit Status:
As a graduate of the "School of Hard Knocks," carrying on the tradition in building, defining and chiseling the physique.
I got started in bodybuilding to supplement my athletic career, for the healthful benefits and to enhance my social status by looking buff and handsome.
Why I Love It:
Bodybuilding.com provides an enormous amount of beneficial training information. To tailor your own workout program with help from the home page here, I refer the SUPERSITE link and then access both the EXERCISES and WORKOUTS links (you can also arrive at these links via the STORE link above).
How I Stay Motivated:
I've become addicted to exercise! That in itself is a primary motivation. Knowing the benefits derived from training is another motivation.

My information below is a prime example of the benefits of maintaining your physical fitness, as well as, what your body can do if you set your mind to it. It's...
Over the years, my exercises specific to bodybuilding have included bench press, bench press on an incline bench, push-ups, military press, barbell shrugs, french curls, pull-ups, pull-overs, pull-downs, triceps push-ups, dips, curls, preacher curls, bent over rows, wrist curls, hand...
I've had a lot of left ankle injuries too. I had to play throught the rest of my softball game at nationals with a broken ankle!~So I know how you feel!
gotcha...i never really played outfield, i was always an infielder. But ive pretty much played everywhere as well..but 2nd base was my favorite...i really loved hitting, that was my specialty.
Wow I never played 1-3-1..thats different! lol but I only played from 5th-8th grade. But, in softball I was mostly a second baseman. Also, I played 3rd and 1st base.
I was a left wing...we did a 1-2-2. Truthfully, I wasn't that great at basketball. I only did it to get in shape; those suicides were killer! lol..but shooting guard huh? How many years did u play?
Oh yes, agreed. Running is awesome cardio. I just wish that I could do it more intensely and for longer periods of time. (my endurance sucks!) but wow that kind of training you just described sounds a little intense! lol
Wow so do you! You've pretty much played every sport known to man lol I only played varsity softball in high school. I actually turned down a softball scholarship at the last minute. I also forgot to mention that I did long distance in track and soccer but those were only for a little over a year lol.
Thanks..and yes I do. I mix it up a lot too. But, I played select softball for 11 years, select volleyball for 5 years, and select basketball for 4 years.
Well thank you! And thanks for the tidbit of info. I didn't know that! But, exercise is my drug as well. I stopped playing sports so I have to work out and plus I just love it!
I actually never swam in AZ, I swam in Reno as part of a club team for most of my life. I recently got back in the pool after a few years of not swimming at all...and realized how HARD it is! Man...I must have been in shape back in the day :).
