Awesome experience, I've only been in one other contest but this one was well thought out and well planned by the promoters. Great contest! I started preparing 14 weeks out for this show and came in the best condition in my life. I was in the Men's Junior Light Heavy Weight division. I was the lightest competitor in my division. The others weighed closer to the 195 cut off for my division. It is not what I wanted but a very good learning experience, if and when I decide to compete again. Toney Freeman, Johny Jackson, and Roc Shabaz were some of the pros at this contest. Carmella was also there and posed for the night show. Being that if you won overall in your class you would get air and hotel to nationals so there was a lot of in shape guys and girls which made the competition very good. All in all if you live anywhere near Gadsden, Alabama I would suggest going to see this contest or competing in it. It was awesome! |
