Lifted all throughout high school off and on but could not keep a steady schedule due to sports and my lack of knowledge in the weight room. Then my senior year after my soccer season ended I decided to get serious about lifting. Starting off I couldn't even bench my body weight. Which looking back upon it makes me laugh. But now I'm in college and I'm just trying to lift when I can.
Why I Love It:
Love seeing my body change for the better. I also love getting comments about how I look muscular and bigger. Lifting is also a great stress reliever.
How I Stay Motivated:
By what people tell me. Whether it is you can't do this or that. But also the wows I get from people I have not seen in some time.
BB Accomplishments:
Gained 20 lbs my first year, hopefully I can do it agian.

Why? What are the pros and cons of working out there?
Live in a dorm, so can't have a home gym. Pros interact with people learn new/different work out routines. Cons; People standing around chatting and getting in my way.

looks like with your body type you may want to have a little higher calorie intake & some healthy fats. Looks like you burn calories fast bro.
Also-although food should be the first source-have you tried weight gainer?
its pretty good man-starting yesterday I'm on a 12wk diet & training routine-a comp is coming up September 26th & I am thinking about competing.

Wow! Engineering. I have a bro that's a Civil Eng. He's been the County Engineer in Boone Co Kentucky for the past 10-15 yrs. I understand why you gave up the job. Smart man.

You made the right decision to focus on school. Are you at UofL? I had the advantage of working a parttime shift from 5pm til 9pm Mon-Fri. Completely overhauling your sleep schedule is rough. How are the workouts coming? Stick with it, but school comes first.
