I've been doing nothing but putting on weight since I got married about 60 lbs. I need to lose all of that and 20 more to be ripped up. I need to get back down to 160 lbs like I was when I was 18
Why I Love It:
I would be lying if I told you I loved working out. I just want to look good. Working out kind of sucks. There are some rewarding aspects you get while working out when you finish up 5 miles on the treadmill or bench 300 lbs. When I work out I try to push my body to the limit, weather it’s a weight day or cardio day. I try to work out with so much intensity I feel nauseous most of the time when leaving the gym. By the time I get home its hard for me to get out of the car.
How I Stay Motivated:
The tools on this website really keep me motivated. Putting up the pictures getting comments. Seeing graphs all of it let you see even small changes in your body that makes you feel like you aren't working out in vain but are yeilding results even if they are small sometime. My wife also keep me motivated in a strange way. It almost seems like she thinks i'm just talking crap about really getting built and cut but I'm going to show her this time it not a GAME!
BB Accomplishments:
Once I got my bench up to 305 which isn't a huge accomplishment but its nice to be in the 300 club. But I stopped lifting and now I don't even know what it is now probably about 260

Description: This video is almost 10 years old I was 14 yrs old benching 180 5 times. This video really inspires me because sometimes I feel like I’m just not one of those people who can be lean but when I see that I realize I use to be. I wish I never feel off from my lifting from back them I would be huge by now. I will be back that lean but way bigger and stronger this time!

Its funny how in the beginning a person can actually hate going to workout at the gym but soon, usually after 21 days or so it gets to be such a great feeling it becomes a habit and from there anything you want can happen.
Good luck with attaining your goals and never give up or in!
man these last couple weeks have gone pretty crappy. i have been low on cash and it has caused me to start eating kind of crappy. I went shopping tonight though So it is on with NO cheat meals for a while. How are you doin
Good luck with your goals, Jermaine. I can relate to not wanting to train sometimes. I have been in and out of the gym since my first marriage (1988). I got back in and got serious in 2003. I will not make the mistake of quiting again.
Glad you enjoyed the videos.
They show that calisthenics can be pretty damned demanding. Top them off with a jump rope and things are just going crazy.
Whatsup man you can see a big difference in your progress pics - the weight gain is definitely that muscle you're building. You sound like you're really motivated to to this.. keep it up!
