When I Started:
Jul, 1995
How I Started:
I grew up on all the Rocky movies, and anything Stallone. I wanted to be just like him. So on my 14th birthday I got my first weight set (the sand filled ones). I remember try to get strong for baseball, and wont ever forget the 1st time I felt "The Pump". Arnold took it a little to far on how he felt about it, but it was definitely fantastic. i didnt stop after that.
Why I Love It:
I love bodybuilding because it is measured on how hard you work to get results. I didnt quite have the natural abilities to star in every sport such as baseball, basketball etc. all though i seem to have a knack at this one.
How I Stay Motivated:
I read alot of magazines and look at the pictures while trying to imagine myself as one of them. Bodybuilding.com has definitely been my mentor.
BB Accomplishments:
Placing 2nd in the novice at the Indiana Natural. My first show!
Jeremy in such a short amount of time between shows you looked alot bigger. That was awesome work brother, I was impressed to hell. The wife looked great as well.
Congrats on the top 5 placing in Open Medium tonight, Jeremy. Great work. You've improved tremendously. Louise looked phenomenal. Now go have some children with your lovely wife!
Well I won't be at the show on Saturday. Are you going to compete in either of the NPC shows on June 6th or 13th? I'd still like to see you on stage, and I'll be shooting both shows!
I may not even be at the comp, pending some out of town funeral plans. And I wanna see what you are bringing! Wanna shoot some outdoor beefcake pix a day or two before the show? I need the experience and you get killer shots.
Ah, so you're doing the Circle City. Very cool! I'm talking with Jen Dale about serving as a test judge at the Circle City comp to get my judging certification. I expect to see great things from you J! As if you need motivation!
Less than 7 weeks to 2009 CCC, Jeremy. Thankfully we're not in the same class (as I breathe a sigh of relief). Although there is a chance we could share the stage for a pose down for overall (not likely I'll win Open Short though)??!!
Hey Jeremy, pleased to report I hit 200 this week. Signs are favorable for the OCB Indiana in September. You still growing, or cutting for the Circle City?
We'll be at the NKY cheering a bud of ours in the teens. I know Lance is going over too. We'll be watching for you-- will we recognize your well fed face? LOL!
thanks, jeremy. training's going well. doing some muscle detailing before the may 30 ccc. didn't get heavier than 188 lbs during quality bulk-up. holding steady at 181 lbs in decent condition. i've gotten many positive comments on my hair style. my wife really likes it, and it's low maintenance! whatever bad news you had, hopefully things are looking up. say "hi" to louise for us!--manny
