How I Started:
Both of my parents were very athletic and into weight training, my mother still is. She had me in the gym lifting before I could drive. In my early 20's she was my lifting partner and I definately looked the best I ever have at that time. In the nearly ten years since then, I've married and had a child, and not done much of anything. I'm putting alot of hope in memory muscle.
Why I Love It:
Mentally I'm happier, physically I'm more confident, and there's not much better than feeling that burn.
How I Stay Motivated:
My husband and my mother are my inspiration. My husband has lost alot of weight in a healthy manner and looks terrific! Even though he reached his weight goal, he is still working hard at bettering his body. My mother is 50 and looks amazing, way better than most 30 yr. olds I know (myself included). She credits much of that to her training, if it works for her...

Goal (Long):
Ultimately I would like to lose 10 pounds, I'm sure I have at least that much in fat that I can shed. I love the defined, muscular, athletic look so that's my goal. I'm hoping to achieve this look by mid-September. I am signed up for a 5k run April 25, so as a short term goal I want to be able to run/jog 5k by then. I am currently jogging/sprinting and doing the "Baby Got Back" weight training work-out. The one thing I majorly need to work on is my diet.
