Background

When I Started: Aug 2009
HOW I STARTED:

I lifted a little in high school for football and basketball, but I stopped for several years. I just decided I wanted to start lifting again, so me and my buddy hit the gym once our third year of college began in 2009.

WHY I LOVE IT:

I always have more energy and I look healthier when I work out consistently.

2012 100K Transformation Challenge: Final Essay

This was the first true contest I have ever entered, and the last 12 weeks have absolutely flown by. I started training with my best friend Alex Muresan (putzky) a couple weeks before the start of the challenge. Once we took our before pictures we began training hard and heavy for size and strength over the first 9 weeks. Our diets were fairly clean, but carb heavy. Now that there are 8 days left before the end of my 12 week 100K competition, I'm about to begin playing around with my hydration levels and my workout routine. Never done this before, so hopefully the results will prove that diligent researching is well worth one's time!
