When I Started:
Aug, 2006
How I Started:
Injured my lowerback during the summer of 06. Gained thirty pounds in 3 months. In August, a number of things happened.
1. I wasn't injured anymore
2. I was finally able to go workout (light weight only)
3. I saw Morgan Spurlock's "Supersize Me" for the first time
4. I was tired of carrying the extra weight in my face, stomach and legs.
Why I Love It:
I love working out. Pumping iron is my peace time. I love everything about the gym; in fact it's like the TV Show "Cheers" for me.
I also love being able to put hard work in and see the results.
How I Stay Motivated:
Looking in the mirror is all it takes for me. Nothing like seeing results to further motivate you to be all you can be
I also do it for the chicks 8-)
BB Accomplishments:
August 2006 - 230 lbs 26.4 bodyfat and miserable
March 2007 - 187 lbs at 12-13% bodyfat
April 2007 - 189 lbs at 14-15% bodyfat (got injured again but still somewhat clean)

August 2006. I was around 230 with 26% bodyfat. Time to make a change
I'm getting there. Abs will be here before the summer is out.
Put in the hard work in the gym and on the nutrition side of things. I will have abs by December 12th. Definitely around 8% bodyfat.
Goal (Long):
My goals are
- Working hard to prepare my meals ahead of time (on Sundays and maybe once during the week)
- Hit the weights hard on Thursday, Saturday and Monday.
- To have proper form when I'm doing my exercises.
- To lift smart.
- To stick to my nutrition goals through and through
- To stay away from the cheat thread
- To see my abs by December 12th. It will defintiely happen.

Hey Rob, I know that you know...Injuries are the WORST! Hope u r feeling better soon. D*mn ACL reconstruction took me out 6 months! This is my 1st week "back" to perform a pitiful a$$ attempt to do some meaningful squats. Arrrggggghhhh. That's ok...I'll get it...4 months 'til competition. U...U WILL lift again!!!
