How I Started:
I discovered weight training in high school as part of my football training regimine. I never had the opportunity to really focus on lifting for another 6 years when my high school and collegiate athletic careers were over.
Why I Love It:
Working out is my passion. It helps relieve my mind of stress, helps me stay in great shape, and is my number one source for building my confidence. I feel like I'm a better person when I'm confident about myself.
How I Stay Motivated:
I was once very skinny. 6'3'' and 150 lbs. Girls would approach me and say "OMG, you are soooo skinny". This would be a complement in their eyes, however, it was a huge put-down in my eyes. No MAN wants to be skinny. I used these complements to help fuel my burning passion for the sport.
I would like to work on my summer body and develop some defenition in my abdominals.
Goal (Long):
I've always been a skinny kid. In High School I was 6'3'' and 160 lbs. I lived a very active lifestyle. Football, and track and field were my passions. I found it very difficult to beef up b/c of my extreme metabolism and my running habbits. I ran hurdles in college for a couple of years, then decided my heart wasn't in it anymore. I began working for local gyms in Charlotte, NC when the bodybuilding bug bit me. Since then I've gained 50 lbs of muscle. Though I'm 210 lbs now. I'd like to gain another 20 lbs, then cut down to a shredded 215 for the perfect beach body. Wish me luck.
Weight Goal:
I want to GAIN 20 lb

7%
