When I Started:
Oct, 2008
How I Started:
Got sick of having no body shape. Being 6ft and skinny is not a good luck, so decided to change.
Why I Love It:
After a long day at work, it's great to spend time in the gym and forget about everything for 90minutes.
You feel better and it helps with the stress of everyday life!
How I Stay Motivated:
looking on bodybuilding.com and thinking if they can do it.....so can I.
Any ideas on gaining size, please get in contact, loads more i need to learn.
BB Accomplishments:
Putting on 'good' weight was 78kgs when I started now 86kg.
Being able to deadlift 360lbs, never thought for a second I would be able to do that.
Just got back from spending 4 hours at the hospital after falling on my knee and being in severe pain.
Typical of me I slipped on a wet floor and fell straight to my knees, with my left leg going in a direction it should be able to go. So this afternoon I've spent several hours in A&E...
Stuggling with food intake? do you mean setting up a good diet? or just what to make in general? Taking any supplements? Take it easy since you just got back over 4 weeks out
hey jono, good to hear ya back into it but dont over do it if your not 100% bud. OZ is badass at the minute, CRAZY busy. Work is busy and personal life even more so. Its that time of year when every weekend is booked out, weeks are non-stop then i've got training on top of that. Its good though, keeps me on my toes. Whats crackin in the UK?
pre-workout drink..2 hr workout..postworkout meal containing BCAAs +glutmaine + wieght gainer shake right after for max absorption then every 2 hrs after protein bars or shakes with eggs or oatmeal and trying to get more red meat into the mix. did this for about a month straight and raised my intensity lvl in the gym and i started filling out pretty nicely.
hey,I have added a wieght gainer that has all the macro-nutrients ive been somewhat missing from my diet.My diet is as follows;protein shake in morning.meal replacement bar, weight gainer shake couple hours later, some oatmeal for mid-morning snack and a piece of fruit, banana or apple, then i will eat a whole food meal when i get a chance..something like tuna out of a can or something similar..
i'm hitting the iron and the cardio hard. trying to shred some bf and gain some muscle mass. no easy task and what everone wants, right. making slow but steady progress, so i'm not complaining. if i can control my diet i'd be on topof the world. LOL.
same ol same ol man. took a week off to recover.. i was pretty beat up. now i changed my training a bit for the next few weeks. i'm gonna update my blog, you'll see. how you doin man?
sorry about your ligament tear.. :( keep your head up. I know that feeling. Try get in gym for upper body at least. and just focus on where you are... and not on anyone elses' progress or routine. just yours...peace
i have added a weight gainer that has helped with the complex carbs and i was at a stand still 172-3ish so i started a carb cycle that consisted of me fluctuating my carb intake from low to moderate to high....i did this and i have seen a tremendous boost in strength and size..just 20 lbs to go! ;)
doin great bro thx! keep up the hard work! Lift heavy and eat a lot! 5 to 7 meals a day and also make sure to give your body a day of rest maybe 2 so it can rebuild and grow.
peace,
Micah
