When I Started:
Sep, 2004
How I Started:
I had always had a set of dumbbells in my room but didn't really know what i was doing. Then when i was at collage i found that between classes i had nothing to do. So i signed up to a gym close by. Quite quickly i began to see a big difference. but i still didn't really know what i was doing and found my self just training the areas that you see people train on TV (i.e bicep curls, bench press). every thing else kinda got left behind like legs and shoulders. the gym was very small and I had know one there to show me where i was going wrong. Once i left that collage i signed up to a proper Gym and started training with others rather than training on my own in a shoe Box!
Now training is a main part of my life. it started as something to pass the time, but now it is a life style choice.
Why I Love It:
I find that no matter how crazy or stress full my day has been. i can always go down the Gym for an hr to clear my head.
Or go out for a run.
I cant lie there is also an element of vanity thrown in there some where.
I do like the fact that if i am on the beach in the summer. or any time of year just out side, that if i want to take off my shirt i can do comfortably.
but i also get alot of satisfaction when i am training in the Gym and people come up to me and ask me for advice.
so much so that i have begun my personal trainers Qualification.
I like to fill my life with positive things that can help me have a long and happy life.
How I Stay Motivated:
there is a reason for all the training other than just staying fit. i am a stuntman in training and have been for the last 4 years.
i guess you could say that what drives me is the prospect of one day being a successful stunt performer working in the heart of the entertainment industry.
as far a my fitness and bodybuilding goes. i have decided to enter my first competition this august.
i thought that to be at the top of my game i have got to aim higher that i have been. I have to admit also I have found that recently because i have had a goal to work towards i have seen much better results in my fitness and in the way i look over all!
