How I Started:
I was a division 1 athlete in college (High Jumper at University of Minnesota). We lifted weights for strength & conditioning. Before too long the lifting became more fun than Track. My physique changed rapidly and fairly easily (genetics).
Why I Love It:
Being an athlete all of my life, bodybuilding has been the sport that I can do for the rest of my life. I compete with myself on a daily basis. My workouts have been the best part of each day since I was 18!
How I Stay Motivated:
I am competitive with myself. Don't ever tell me that I cannot do something because I will endure! I workout to improve and not to lose weight (I started skinny so I am fearful of returning to that!). I want to stay in shape so I can remain an active part of my childrens' lives!

You had expressed some interest in competing in the "NPC Heartland Natural Classic" next spring... I just wanted you to know that we have been forced to move the date of the show from April 12, 2008 to April 5, 2008.
