After graduating from High school, I decided to change my body for the better. So the first year of college was the first time I got a membership at my local gym (24hr Fitness) and the rest is history.

Goal (Long):
All of my life I've struggled with being overweight and as time progressed, I just got bigger and bigger and the shirts and pants sizes just kept going up. I want to have a body that I can be proud of and say that I worked my butt off to make it this way! I will not settle for being average because I'm not an average guy! I will have the physique that will make heads turn. But like everything in this world, hard work will be one of the main things to achieve these goals. And I'm ready to work hard and long to keep my body nice and strong! Ultimately, I want to be around 165lbs @ about 10-12% body fat with a six pack.

How has bodybuilding and fitness helped and/or changed your family life?
Going to the gym more sets the example at home and I want to set the right example to having a healthy and long life. Hopefully it motivates them to do the same.

The memories that I have of all that are pretty much of my friends. But since I have started doing the things I wanted to do all along, like the hiking, I find I am much happier with my life. Achieving things is a good thing, but don't let it be the only thing!

I have a lot of education (I've got three college degrees), but I urge you, don't forget to have fun too. I spent my time doing nothing but studying, and although I am glad I have accomplished what I have, I can see that you don't really care about that stuff later in life.

I love SoCal and my parents live there too, but like you say, the cost of living is so high. I am really disturbed by the price of housing. I will never be able to buy a house if I live out there. This area I'm in now is very expensive too because of the ocean and intercoastal waterway, but if you go to NC, you can buy a nice ranch style house for $75k (fixer upper, only about 1200 square feet, but brick veneer in a nice neighborhood).

I definitely want to go sometime. Yosemite gets fantastic hiking reviews. But I live near the mountains of NC, and I really haven't spent enough time there yet. I am seriously looking to find a job near there so I could be closer.

I use to work out that early in the morning. Now I just can't seem to throw myself out of bed and prefer nights. Maybe when I'm done with school and have a regular job I'll go back to mornings...but yeah I hate listening to people talk about some freshman pussy while standing over equiptment then get asshurt if you ask when they will be done talking.
