When I Started:
Mar, 2007
How I Started:
I always wanted to workout, just didn't have a partner or the self-discipline or motivation to go alone. I got a new platoon sergeant in Feb. 2007 and he got me started by going to the gym with him.
Why I Love It:
In Iraq, I have a lot of built up stress. My soon to be wife is back in the states and I have no other way to release frustration and tension. I am becoming a bit angrier than before and what better way to get it out than to throw some weights around. It also makes the day go by quicker.
How I Stay Motivated:
I realize that I am getting older and I think every day I make it back on the camp alive is another opportunity to make this the healthiest, fittest time of my life.
I would like to go home a little bit bigger and more solid.
Goal (Long):
I want to weigh about 215Lbs with less than 10% bodyfat. I would like to bench press 400Lbs. at least once before Oct. 2007. My legs look ok, I want them to look great. I want a much more defined back and bigger biceps.
Weight Goal:
I want to GAIN 10 lb
Bodyfat Goal:
10%
