When I Started:

How I Started:
I always wanted to workout, just didn't have a partner or the self-discipline or motivation to go alone. I got a new platoon sergeant in Feb. 2007 and he got me started by going to the gym with him.
Why I Love It:
In Iraq, I have a lot of built up stress. My soon to be wife is back in the states and I have no other way to release frustration and tension. I am becoming a bit angrier than before and what better way to get it out than to throw some weights around. It also makes the day go by quicker.
How I Stay Motivated:
I realize that I am getting older and I think every day I make it back on the camp alive is another opportunity to make this the healthiest, fittest time of my life.

I am loving bodybuilding.com. My buddy went on this site and looked up an arm workout. Our old routine just wasn't doing it for us anymore. We gave the workout he found on here a try today. It was so intense that by the 5th and 6th exercise we were hitting muscle failure with about 5 exercises...
