When I Started:
Mar, 2005
How I Started:
I was a three sport athlete throughout high school. I got started lifting on my own (outside of practice) in my senior year.
Why I Love It:
How I Stay Motivated:
I feel like shit when I dont lift. Being a full time student and working 40 hours a week leaves me pretty stressed and lifting is the only thing that keeps my head straight.
BB Accomplishments:
I hit a 305 lb bench in may of 2007. Between march of 2005 and january of 2006 I dropped from 230 lbs to 180 lbs and was cut for the first time in my life.
Do you tell your friends and/or family about your fitness goals?
Yes
Why or why not?
It keeps me accountable to my goals. If other people know what I want to do and I fail, I dont just feel like shit, I look like an ass too.

What tips would you give to others to help them stay motivated over the long-term?
Take pictures of yourself and keep a workout log. On days when you are feeling burned out you can see exactly how far you have come and how much better you look. Think about all the progress you have made and about all the things you want to achieve in the future.Take pictures of yourself and keep a workout log. What supplements do you take immediately before your workout? Why?
I usually have some small molecular weight carbs with whey about a half an hour before lifting and arginine with caffine immediately before I start.
