Alot of lean proteins taken in about 6X per day. I keep my carb level pretty low and my fat intake moderate. I try to do as many green vegetables as I can. Good healthy fats to include are CLA, flaxseed oil, fish oil, and extra virgin olive oil. Besides lots of egg whites, chicken, fish, and lean steak, I also do alot of whey protein.

sizzahanz is right. Though one thing that seems to work is clean eating and cycling light training/mass reps with heavy training. Each for about 6 weeks. Changing it up so you don't stagnant seems to be key

There is no universal method that works for everybody, bruh. Try different things to see how YOUR body responds. What works for me may be a waste for you, and vice versa. If you're seeing progress with your current training, wait a couple of weeks before changing it up. And journal EVERYTHING so you know what worked and what didn't.

What do you eat before workouts? That and your energy levels may have something to do with it.

Nah, I pretty much stick to the elliptical now. When I first got here i was running every workout but I ended up straining my upper thigh due to all the impact (I still weighed 237 of course). I'll probably start throwing in some running here soon to see how it feels, I've been thinking. Maybe tonight...

Well the cardio part sounds good, thats about what i do, 3 miles for a half hour. But if i were you, i would try to increase your sets and reps while lifting. You said you were doing 3 sets of 10 reps, try lowering your weight and increasing the amount of reps to 4 sets of 15 reps. And also, have you tried doing supersets and giant sets??

You are so kind to leave me such a cute compliment, and thank you for adding me too. I see you are a military man, so please accept my sincere appreciation for serving our country. I see we are the same height, that's neat. Best wishes to you Jen
