How I Started:
I was inspired by Anthony Ellis who was one of the winners of the EAS Body for Life competition. Before he bulked up he was about the same build I was, so I figured I could do the same.

BB Accomplishments:
Putting on over 20lbs. Benching over 200... not much but I remember when I could barely rep my own weight. Going from 10 pull ups to 22.

I did 185x19 for squats today... I was pretty excited about that, hehe. I probably could've done 2-3 more reps but I was supersetting so I wanted to save a little energy.
As far as my goal for my body stats, being 5'10" I'd like to be about 185 lbs at around 6% body fat. I've never been that lean before, nor have I weighed that much before, so I have no idea what I'd look like. But I'd imagine having those stats would give me the look I'm aiming for.
Yesterday I had dinner with a few friends. One of them started talking about working out and asked why I'm trying to bulk up. I told him that I'm trying to build a foundation first, so that when I do lean down I'll have something to show for it. I added to that by saying if I just lean down...
I never counted calories specifically, I knew my "snack" of a Egg protein / milk shake,PB toast & Orange juice had certain protein, calorie & carb copunt,,,

lol, it was actually my off day last night. the past couple of weeks, i've been on and off irregularly. so how's your workout coming along? hitting the gym sometime today? later!
I've been Max-Ot'ing for 4 weeks. I dont think any ONE routine works by itself, so changes are good. I've been incorporating a mix of X-reps, high volume, and Max-OT. I dont want to lose my strength for those heavy weights so I start with the heavy low reps, and then end with some x-reps (for maximum muscle tension duration)and one high volume set (for optimal slow twitch muscle fiber recruitment).
