get muscled and stay trim - I want to thicken and broaden my back, shoulders and pecs. Keep my abs tight and get my legs cut.

20071201 - just posted some pics. Trying to do it monthly so that if there is any progress it might be seen easier. Found out Peanut butter is not my friend - I eat too much of it and start feeling flabby. Better to use fresh tomatoes than sauce also. I like staying between 179-180. If The muscle comes, then 185 would be cool. But just to bulk for bulkin sake is not my thing. I still run (5 x's a week) because I like it and it's good for my heart. I do 35 mins ( around 2 1/2 miles at a time.) that seems to fit into the morning schedule. ttfn.===============================
20 080105 I am taking the month of January to work off the belly fat fromthe holidays. I am trying to run 3 miles a day (5x aweek) and work the weights harder to get that muscle growth going.==
20080202 --Well top of the month pics. I gained 6 lbs Since ny lowest of 177. So Now I'm pushing 183. I would like some unbiased opinions on how it looks - fat or fit. Cardio - 3 miles at a time ( 45 min run ) been5 times a week. Weights - 1 - 2 body parts a day- working 4-5 sets. Abs are still every day. Input onthe pics would really be helpful.================================ ========
20080301 -- maintaining my running at 5x'x aweek at 3 1/4 miles at a time. I'm at 183 and comparing the pics you can see I put on some fat. Gotta change that to muscle before I get back to being fat Joe again. I've added oatmeal in the morning -- that does help me run better so will keep it for this month. Thanks for the picture comment and you are correct, I feel SO much better now. It is amazing how carrying around an extra 40 pounds can effect you mentally and physically.

wow, you've got a lot of info in your profile writeup. keep eating peanut butter, but ony the natural kind with no sugar and salt. cardio is great. just be sure to lift heavy (to failure) good luck
