I am a student at a small division III school in ohio, Hiram College. I run cross country and as a freshman (last year) i achieved the 10th fastest time in hiram history, 27:12 (5:26 avg for the 8k course). but i feel that i am too weak and don't have enough upper body strenght to carry me through the end of the races. getting the 27:12 i weighed 116, by next year i want 125
well I don't really know what kind of time to shoot for...right now I am running 10 minute miles for my long runs, with some pick up the last mile or two
yes I have been...I found a 10 week program on runnersworld.com and am using that...I was excited, I ran 10 miles last sunday without any walking breaks...on the treadmill of course tho, can't wait till it gets warm for good so I can run outside
hey thanks!! well I'm running my first half marathon in May so I've been training for that and then I also play volleyball for my school so lifting and conditioning for that....but mainly for myself, wanna look good this summer :)
im not...well not yet at least... im an assistant preschool teacher at a private preschool and work too much to do school too...eventually i will but kinda depends where i'm living at
no i'm on an inhaler now so i do a lot of jogging outside, mountain biking, dance classes, and treadmill running...i just take it a slower pace and do a lot of interval training.
ew i hate running...well i have sports asthma so that's probably why...i ran one race in 6th grade and passed out after the finish line.. lol i came in 2nd to last!
