Overall Goal: Last year I loosened my running shoes and picked up some weights... I've been in love ever since. With the right routine and a clean eating plan I've noticed some huge results! My goal is to eventually compete in a figure competition... I'm not quite

How I Stay Motivated:
I'm looking to the future, I dont want to end up with an ailment that I could have prevented as a young adult by leading a healthy lifestyle. I want to be healthy and I want to inspire others to be healthy. My biggest inspiration of all is when I'm at the gym and my 5 year old stands beside me in the mirror flexing her muscles. She's my biggest fan!

How has bodybuilding and fitness helped and/or changed your family life?
My hope is to constantly inspire those around me to make changes toward living healthy! I think my family is slowly jumping on board, although its taking some convincing! Sometimes it's discouraging when they have their set backs but I have to remind myself that what came natural for me, doesn't come natural for everyone and its going to take time!My hope is to constantly inspire those around me to make changes toward living healthy! Are you a parent?
Yes
How has bodybuilding and fitness helped you to be a better parent?
I feel that by being so fitness oriented I am setting a good foundation for my daughter. She loves to run with me, she can almost keep up! She has a 2 lb set of weights so sometimes I let her take them to the gym and "lift" with me! She's five and she can already name some some basic muscle groups :) She loves going to the gym with me, on the days we have to miss the gym she actually pouts about it! And the best part is knowing that she's my biggest fan! I feel that by being so fitness oriented I am setting a good foundation for my daughter. She loves to run with me, she can almost keep up! How has bodybuilding and fitness helped you in your career?
Well since I'm a military photographer, fitness has come in handy on a daily basis! It allowed me pass my PT test every year!
Once I went on a photo shoot with some pre-rangers on a training mission, it was supposed to be a 5 mile hike through the woods and they pretty much ran it the whole time and it was hot and sticky outside... the awesome part was that I was able to keep up, that's when I realized how important it was to be fit in my career field! After a busy week I didn’t feel that this week's workouts were as productive as they could have been so during breakfast this morning I decided that I was going to challenge myself to an intense full body workout! I skimmed through a few oxygen magazines and picked out a workout for each...
Mondays: Chest
Tuesdays: Triceps & Biceps in the evening. ABS & Calves in the morning.
Wednesdays: Legs... toughest day for me!
Thursdays: Back
Fridays: Shoulders in the evening. ABS & Calves in the morning.
Saturdays: a light full body with emphasis on Abs.
