How I Started:
I have been athletic and in sports my whole life. But got started in bodybuilding 3 years ago. Mostly because of the incredible self confidence I was achieving after a personal issue that affected me.
Why I Love It:
Strength, self confidence, endurance in other sports I participate in,(skiing, indoor soccer)
Everything else comes along with it.
How I Stay Motivated:
Lately I have been motivated by seeing what gains I have made. This year my strength has been skyrocketing. I think working with others has been a big plus. But its time to diet down so I know all those gains will be diminished. So I will look to the mirrow for my motivation.lol
BB Accomplishments:
3rd in Master Women over 35 at 2005 Wa. St. Ironman
1st in womens open middle weight at 2006 Wa. ST. Ironman
3rd in Womens Open Heavy. Bad idea. I am not a heavy weight. LOL
2nd in Womens Open Heavy again. @ the 2008 Ironman.

Wow this is the first I have done this but just wanted to say that from today on I am thinking about every bite I take. LOL Time to get the fat off for summer and see what all my hard work did for me. I am excited to see my shoulders I put alot of time in to them this winter and hope it paid...
Hi Mary!! Need your help, I am a candidate for the best bodyspace over 40 on simplyshredded.com and would appreciate your vote! Hope to see you at the Ironman:)
Thanks for the encouragement on my "Bad news Post" I'm going to try and get into the light weight class and come in at 165 @ 3%. If I hit that goal I'm going to go ahead and do it. I just need to get the posing down, I suck at that.
You look great and your comment ment a lot to me thanks.
Hey I feel ur pain. I've been suffering the same pain as you since Xmas. I've been to my physician, an orthopedist and now a chiropractor. I've been resting my upper body long enough. It now doesn't hurt as much, but I'm tired of waiting for the ailment to go away. My next step will be to get an MRI. I'll keep you posted.
I just saw your Vancouver pic...you look great!! I love your hair cut!! I'm thinking your legs are awesome!!! I can't seem to get my quads to pop out like that....I guess it just takes time and more weight! :)
