"DO IT OR DIE NOT TRYING".well, a total transformation. I want to lose about 120 lbs and at the same time tone what muscle I have Then hopefully add muscle.
Goal (Long):
My overall goal is to lose 120 lb. I am doing mini goals of about 15 lb at a time. It is hard to gain muscle while dieting so I am just trying to tone what I do have. I got a goal of 20 min on the stairmaster so I have a new goal of 20 min on skill level 4.
Well... a 5 lb gain...kinda surprised really. It has been 2 months since I weighed. I wish I had stayed on my diet , but I didn't. So now what.. gain the other 30 back ? lay down and cry and kick my feet, I know I could blame My wife or my sonsĀ lol....Nope not this time I will start over just...
You can reach your goals.. dont focus to much on the 120# start with short term goals. 3-5 lbs a week. try to make gains in your lifting.. increase your lean muscle mass and you will burn more calories around the clock. Watch your diet and train like your life depends on it. because IT DOSE. You can do this. chuck
Hey!! I was wondering what's going on with you! But I definitely understand. My diet isn't where I want it to be...but my gym time is awesome!:) Backwards I know! But you keep working on it.... don't give up..one day at a time!
ok take it a step at a time. Get the food in your control. Plan a diet and stick to it. That is the first part. Fat is used by our body when we are in a calorie debt to the body. So first step, food. How is your diet?
Hey, haven't heard from you in awhile. How is it going? I lost 1/2 inch from my waist. That is very discouraging, but I am determined to do better and get better!!
WOW...47 that is great!! I was looking in the mirror today and I was like I don't see any change. But of course I won't. Still looked anyway. I have to work on my patience. I have seen so many people with great after pics... and I'm like MAN!! I can't wait to take mine. Need to stop thinking about it and take it one day at a time!!!!!!!!!! Have a great Monday!!
You might need to up your cardio. That may help with the two pounds. The two bad dinners are too bad, just up your cardio. I'm doing pretty good. Felt like hell yesterday...but I didn't have any carbs at all yesterday so I guess my energy was depleted. I don't have a workout partner, but my husband is a Bodybuilder and goes to the gym 4 days a week. So him going...makes me go!! I'm thinking of those after pics...can't wait to take them either!! LOL!!!! Good luck!!!
you CAN do this--it takes time, patients and courage. I'd say you have all three going for you. It's a process and it WILL happen for you. Don't give or in. Stay the course and you'll do fine! Good luck!
I went to the body for life website. Doesn't seem to bad. I'm gonna do some more reading and see if it will help me. It is harder for women...we always want to look good..and at our best. But it's a necessary evil. I'm going to wait until May to take more pics. It's my birtday month so that can be a present to myself!!
To be honest, I don't have a set diet. I am just working on lowering my portions and incorporating more healthy foods. I want to get those things down first and focus on cardio. I took some pics today and I must say I am embarrassed to post them. It's one thing to think about how you look, but to actually see it in color..UGH!!! But I am going to bite the bullet and post them. Use them as motivation!!
Thanks, I hope to hear that for generations to come (and I hope to never look like my own grandma either , lol) you keep up the good work and don't let anything discourage you.
