I was always the little kid everybody picked on because I couldn't do anything about. Now, they all want to be friends with me and ask for help in fights.
Why I Love It:
The way it makes me feel, look, and just the mental knowledge of knowing when it comes down to moving something heavy. I can do it.
How I Stay Motivated:
The results.
BB Accomplishments:
300lb bench press for 1 rep...when i started...135 for a set of 10 seemed impossible.
Well I was always the scrawny little guy. Now that I have muscle and everything calls me "jacked" i just want to keep getting bigger and bigger. I don't want to stop. 180lbs is a goal for right now. Once I get there, I know it will keep going. I want to get as big as I naturally can.
Leblanc is no joke, worked out with him once before back in high school, 3 workouts and 2 sets later I had to sit down and take a break. Overheating and thought I was going to yack. He is a monster!
How long do you rest between sets on average? Why?
60 seconds or less. I enjoy the fast paced volume workouts. Get in, Lift big weight in the shortest period of time possible and get out.

How many reps per set do you usually do? Why?
10-12 because I do a really fast pace workout. I am in and out of the gym in 30-40 minutes and I do 3 to 4 workouts per body part and 3 sets per workout. My workout partner and I do a "I go, You go" type of a workout. I do my set, it's his turn. Once he's finished his set. It's my turn again. Very short rest periods 10-12 because I do a really fast pace workout. I am in and out of the gym in 30-40 minutes and I do 3 to 4 workouts per body part and 3 sets per workout. My workout partner and I do a "I go, You go" t...more

Where do you mainly workout?
Gym
Why? What are the pros and cons of working out there?
It gives me access to so many different resources for working out. Free weights, machines, cardio equipment, and an aerobics room.
So, playing Semi-Pro Football for a local team I got injured in a game. I mean, I'm not broken in half or anything but I took a helmet to the back of my ribs area and I'm to stubborn to go to the doctors so I'm just waiting for it to heal on it's own. I feel as though it's either a muscle...
i've started with a pretty defined diet too. have learned to like oatmeal. brkfst & lunch are solid, it's dinner with the family that hits the skids. you're lookin jacked man--great motivation.
training's going well for me. i recently hit a PR for bf%. my goal is to get to single digits and be rockin' the def like you brother. nursing a strain in my leg muscle, so my running's a little slow, but I'm pushing hard. you still making gains?
Good **** man, when i get back ill have another season on the base team down in NC and then i think ima go reservist and go to school...somewhere i can play
That's GREAT!! Football training, practice and games certainly isn't child's play! I'm kinda surprised, though, that they don't encourage (or force) time in the gym for weight training. In any event...have fun, play hard and WIN! :)
Hey Jonathan! :) Thanks so much for stopping by and checking up on me. Yup, still on track. Stuggling to meet my goals but I don't let it discourage or deter me! How about you? How is training?
I'm hittin the gym 5 to 6 days a week and on a cutting diet. Trying to lower my bodyfat and hopefully see some abs. I'm on day 10 and so far the only difference I've noticed is that I'm a lot more cranky than usual! :( But everyone I talk to assures me it will work so I'm stickin to it!
LOL! You are welcome here ANYtime of year! 4 more days til home!...that's great! I know you can't wait! Will you stay in the military or is this it for you?
YAY!!!!! That's GREAT news!!! I'm glad you arrived safely! Enjoy the Garden State during your short visit! :) Too bad it's not the season for tomatoes and sweet corn...we have the BEST! :)
