i was overweight married with 2 kids and one on the way...i used to be "in shape" but that was no longer true of me. i felt like my wife deserved better, my kids [certainly] deserved better, and [honestly] i needed it too.
it took about a 6 months to lose 40lbs. i went from 5'10 @ 185 / no muscle at all, to 145lbs w/ no muscle at all. i ate poorly, didn't understand nutrition [calories are calories, right?] and worked out like a freak show. bad for muscles, bad for joints, just bad.
about 8-9 months ago i started working out at a gym [not JUST at home] and "went to school" on what it meant to be healthy...and strong.
so here i am still pretty skinny, 155 on 05.07.2008, but i'm happy and healthy and meeting my goals.

Why I Love It:

BB Accomplishments:
probably the weight loss, and now, putting on [some] muscle weight.
