Several losses in my life made me realize that I wanted to eat healthier, be more fit, and (hopefully) reduce the size of the "mama butt" my wonderful children gave me :)
Why I Love It:
Exercise helps keep my stress levels down and energizes me for the entire day. It gives me a break from "reality" and allows me to have time for myself. The results I see give me confidence and a higher self-esteem, knowing that I'm healthy enough to take care of not just my children, but finally myself too.
How I Stay Motivated:
It's definitely just simply become a routine. In the mornings, I wake up before the sun (and before my children) to eat breakfast, and exercise. Alone time is important to me because those times are few and far between as a single mom. My children usually wake up close to when I'm finished with my workout, then I can gladly devote my time to feeding, bathing, and dressing them :)
BB Accomplishments:
I have FINALLY gotten rid of my chicken legs and have built up the calf muscles I was sure had never existed! :) Also, my abs and lower back are much stronger, providing me with proper balance and posture.
I would like to maintain a low body fat percentage, around 12%, and a weight of no less than 100 pounds. Being HEALTHY is the most important part of my goal.
Marika is so thoughtful and knowledgeable. She inspires me to reach for the stars and overcome any and all obstacles. Marika has helped me not only change my body, but my mind as well.

I only workout with someone when I'm running...it's a good time to catch up with friends/family

Excellent progress, your abs are looking really great in your recent pic. Way to go Julie! Being a Mom is the toughest job in the world. Be proud of yourself for making the time to stay fit, and taking care of everything else on your own. I wish you all the very best!
