When I Started:
Jan, 1994
How I Started:
In high school my friends at the gym told me to start competing..... and I hadn't even touched a weight yet. I started and the results were great and have now been competing in the NPC since 1995.
Why I Love It:
It is not how big you are, it is how big your heart is that matters. Bodybuilding is the most challenging sport in the universe, and the respect I have for other competitors and for what we put ourselves through is what motivates me to continue dieting and training.
How I Stay Motivated:
Watching others kick butt in the gym, watching the IFBB Pro's and top competitors on You Tube, and my family and friends keep me motivated.
BB Accomplishments:
Won the Overall Mr. High School Colorado. Have won almost every teenage NPC show in the Rocky Mountain region. Recently took 4th out of 16 competitors in the light heavyweight division in the Mr. Colorado (Bodybuilding. com used my pic for the 2008 Colorado State Championships...check it out I am in the silver trunks!).

I keep it basic and simple and vary my program throughout the year. In the offseason I sometimes perform a powerlifting style program for 6 week periods three times per week, but in general I train 4-5 times per week and keep things very simple and basic.
