How I Started:
I was overweight and heavy and had lots of back problems. I had back surgury several years ago and was told I would have problems my whole life. I started working out to make it though the day.
Why I Love It:
I feel good about myself and what people say.
How I Stay Motivated:
I read lots of magazines on exercise. I have slacked off and now am motivated to get into shape. I want to look and feel fantastic in my 40's.

What type of nutrition plan are you currently following? Give full details.
I am following a healthy balanced diet. Six meals a day including protein shakes and bars. Mainly fish and chicke some read meat, only healthy cabs, a little wheat pasta and brown rice. Today I started my 2 work-out day, I dragged my butt out of bed and did cardio at 5:00 am, I was back at the gym at 7:00 pm for my weight routine. My biggest problem was not eating enough today. I feel good and look forward to the new routine
Hey Jim, looks like we're about the same build - but you're just aging better. I'm having a hard time cutting and bulking at the same time - so I'm doing a few weeks splits. Next week start the bulking phase. Best of luck. Jack
