At 48 I wanted to get in better shape and develop some healthy habits. I have worked out before at various points in my life but never stuck with it. This time ended up differently. I think the challenge of body building after 40 began to motivate me and as I began to see progress I started working harder at it. I just kept going and today I am still working hard to achieve the best body possible.
Why I Love It:
As I reach my short term goals I continue to set more goals. I have this thirst to be a better person and working out gives me that.
How I Stay Motivated:
My motivation is my desire to see what I can accomplish. Body building is a goal orientated sport. I continue to set goals for myself and I have a strong desire to reach them.
All the support and comments on this site is also an important part of my motivation. Just knowing that there are other people my age making great body building accomplishments drives me to seek the same.
