I started working out in high school due to football and track.
Why I Love It:
First, I love the feeling the 2nd day after and you are just aching. As well as being so exhausted that you just conk out. (I have issues getting to sleep, so this is a huge bonus.)
How I Stay Motivated:
Actually, I'm having issues in this department. I might have to join a club team or something like that for competition. I think that was my driving force previously.
Also, I picture how I want to look for the last few minutes of running/last couple sets of lifts/ etc.
I want to lose about 15 pounds of fat and gain 20-30 of muscle.
Goal (Long):
I've always been athletic, but never extremely disciplined. My best was about 195 pounds and 8% body fat. I would like to be 210-220 and 6% body fat. I feel I can do this in the next 6-9 months.
After some nice gains of late, I decided to go out and get sick. I've been pretty darn healthy for quite some time, so I guess I was due. Just very disappointing to have hold off on working out etc. I feel like a fat mess. Then tomorrow when I get back in the gym (still not completely...
haha...i haven't even left for spain yet. 8 days until. i am a little worried about the diet and exercise. it shouldn't be that hard to maintain...right?
