well. i have alway been a HUGE runner. i ran my first marathon at age 12. and ran every tack and field event in high school and college. then last february(2008) a friend of mine told me about this challlange he and some of his buddied were starting. the 300 challange. That when he intoduced me to Advocare and my very first suppement Arginine Extreme. during that 9 week challange i gain 15 pound of lean muscle and broke 4 miutes in the mile. needless to say I was hooked!
Why I Love It:
working out releives so much of my stress. And at the same time i am surrounded by good people who i have become close friends with and admire a lot. Oh yeah I like looking good too. lol
How I Stay Motivated:
My son keeps me motivated. Seeing him running around at full speed alll day makes me want to pass on my workout habbits to. And who knows..... a world class runner? hopefully

Goal (Long):
Ive always been known as the little guy or the scrowny guy. So last February i decided to change that. I have been a runner for many years and have broken a 4 minute mile several times, until may... I tore my hamstring doing my annual PT test. But Ive been in the works in training for an Ironman race. I will be doing one in August of 2010 in Arizona
Ok so ive really been out of the past 2 months..... so much stress and problems going on that i lost almost all motivation to hit the gym. Ive been going sparatically during this time. But my buddy Adam has been using me as inspiration to people over in Guam right now and he just let me know...
Conditioning: Warm-up 1 mile jog
Squats to parallel 3X12
Dumbell Lunges 3X20
Romanian Dead lift 3X12
Seated Leg Curls 3X12
Standing Calf raises 3X15
Center Crunches- 2 Second pause at top 3X20
Pull ups to failure...
3:50????!!!! you're insane! haha but good luck on your training for track. You better kill it! :-P I am closing on my first house on Monday :-D!!! Once all the house stuff settles down i'm gonna get my knee fixed up and I hope to be back running early springish.
So i'm not gonna be able to run the 1/2 in Oct. My knee is just not gonna let me do it now and I can't get it fixed right now either, just to much going on :-( I am soooo depressed. Getting up to 10 miles and then having it crap out this sux :-(
Race was sooo much fun! there is 10,000 runners and, equally as many onlookers.People had live bands in their yards/were squirting hoses/yelling with bullhorns/were just constantly cheering people on for the whole course, literally people all along the whole 7 miles. It was an amazing experience I am so glad I got to run it AND (surprisingly) glad my ipod died in the first mile so I actually got to hear and see everything. :-D I definately want to run it again next year.
Idk what it is anymore cuz the PT doesn't think it's what the Dr. said and I have to go have an MRI now. I got to run the Falmouth Road Race Sunday though!
I got Patella Femoral Syndrome, gotta start up PT next week. Boooo but my Dr said I can still run, well she said she's not gonna tell me not to run lol.
I am only really running twice a week tues/sat. And only one long and one like mid-long length 6-7 miles. Then maybe one or two shorter runs like 30mins or HIIT and one day on the elliptical. Been taking it relatively easy.
I will pick one up today that's a good idea. I went out earlier for 7 miles and it was ok until like 4 or 5 miles in then it's just like a stabbing feeling every once in awhile so I think you're right. I think just when my foot over supinates it puts extra stress on my crap knee lol.
