I have always been active as a kid and played volleyball, softball, and ran cross country in high school. My senior year of high school I decided that I wanted to become a firefighter/paramedic so I needed to get stronger for the job. I started working out October 2005 and have been addicted ever since.
Why I Love It:
I love the feeling that I get after a hard workout in the gym or a long run on the streets. I think it's amazing how you can manipulate the human body by the way you work out and eat. Working out puts me in a good mood and makes me feel great about myself. If I skip or miss a workout I can get a little cranky :)
How I Stay Motivated:
The job that I do has a high demand for physical fitness. I also think its encouraging seeing older people at races who have been running their whole lives and are still running and in killer shape at their 70's; some of them pass me!
BB Accomplishments:
I would have to type so much because I have made improvements in everything such as taking my dead-lifts from 95lbs to 185lbs...the list could go on.

I want to be able to have a 6 pack! I was going to compete but just didn't feel ready so my goal is to compete the beginning of the year. As of now I am going to be working on leaning out.
What celebrity body would you most like to have? Why?

Have you ever had a lifting injury?
Yes
What type of injury was it? How long were you injured? How did you recover?
It felt like I was like having a shin splint but on my forearm. I believe I was using too much weight while doing an overhead triceps extension. The only way I recovered was rest.

What is the most common reason that somebody gets injured while lifting?
I met up with the trainer yesterday and starting practicing my mandatory poses, it was fun. It defiantly is alot harder than it looks. My strong area is my back, weak area is the usual for women...butt and legs. As long as I do what I am supposed to, I should be where I need for the show. I have...
Thank you! Yeah, before I moved to Florida I spent $40 on one gym membership, $250 on personal training, $30 a month on a second gym membership, and $20 a month on assorted classes there. Total $340 A MONTH working out!!! JEESH you'd think I'd already be where I want to be! Thanks for the info!
Hmmm, to tell you the truth I don't know! I was talking to a guy about the season ending in Novemember and he mentioned that there weren't any shows between then and April... and that I should start with the new year to cut. So I think there is SOMETHING in April! Have to keep my ears open...
Well, I didn't want to look like a quitter, but I'm not competing in October either!!! Actually, I have never stopped training, but I never fully dieted. I had my bf tested a couple months ago at 26% then life got hectic and money ran short so I figure I will lay low and diet slowly until January, and then hit it hard for April!! You look great and have done a really awesome job! So, April for you, too?
