I'm still just getting started, but I recently started going to the pool and realized that my body isn't in the shape it once was.
Why I Love It:
It gives me a sense of accomplishment, knowing that I'm doing something that will improve myself.
How I Stay Motivated:
I look at pictures of people who I respect, who are in shape, and think to myself that I could do it too!
BB Accomplishments:
Again, just beginning here, but I think that I have come up with a long-term goal and some short-term objectives that are doable. So, that's the first step.

This is my starting out pic. Not too bad but definitely not the kind of muscle and definition I'm looking for.
Not a ton of progress here but I figured I should take a more detailed photograph so I have something to compare it to down the road. Still look like a wienerpie but that's ok. It'll make it all the better when I'm F'N HUGE!!!!
Taking the first steps to a leaner, strong and more defined me!
Goal (Long):
My goal, overall, is to gain muscle, lose fat, and become stronger. I'm tired of being the "skinny fat guy" who is not overweight or underweight, yet has little muscle mass or definition. I'm also tired of working in industry and struggling to lift heavy pieces of equipment.
In the short term I want to gain some strength, put on a little more mass, and drop some bodyfat (not too much). In the long run I am shooting for the "Grecian Ideal" proportions. I don't know if I will reach that but at some point between here and there I will find a body that I can be proud of, I'm certain. I like to keep my goals high so even if I never reach them I can at least make some very satisfactory progress.

So I'm making some definite progress. I looked in the mirror this morning and noticed...I am starting to get abs. I thought I might just be dropping weight so I stepped on the scale and found out that I am actually gaining weight. Definitely moving along nicely. It's kind of strange too because...
