Hey brother, thanks. I love Kirk. My wife is all over his music. As a matter of fact I cut the Jesus track to use in my last routine. Fred Hammond is my man, though. I got to see him and commissioned a few years ago.
who do you listen to for christian rap?
I mostly listen to KJ52, Ambassador, Toby Mac, and Tru Life. Its been awhile since I have got new music so I thought I would ask who you listen to.
What church do you attend? I lived in Memphis, TN for several years, and also one of the pastors from my current church is back in Arkansas as a college minister.
But above all, unwavering steadfastness in God's love is the key to success at any endeavor in life. With Him, and hard work on our part, anything is possible!
Thanks Jermaine. I felt that way too: which can be good if it motivates you to change. Some guys don't and just lose themselves and get more flabby...it's sad. But anything worth achieving in life takes great effort: the greatest men who lived-- no matter in what they excelled in -- didn't just get that way accidently, they worked harder than the others. It always motivates me thinking about it in those terms; it's encouraging.
Its been going good, I started this tri-phase program about two weeks ago. It's too early to say how much of an effect it has had, but I'm feeling pretty good about it. How have you been doing?
Thanks for the comment and stopping by man. I know what you mean by this: "I love the soreness the day after working out!!" I didn't know anyone else was like that. I know some bodybuilders hate it. Anyway, it bothers me, for example, if I'm sitting, studying or something, and noticing that my triceps or biceps aren't dead (sore), seriously! I keep thinking I should be in the gym taking care of that, ha ha. So -- your goal is to get to lower body fat first, then start gaining muscle?
Thanks for reading my blog on Builders for Christ. My church is only a small part of the entire volunteer organization. We benefited from it, so it's only fair to help out, now. Good luck with your training!
