I've started my transformation. In order to become a better version of myself, I have entered the 12-week Bodybuilding.com Employee Transformation Challenge.


I have a spinal problem that's been hindering certain aspects of my weight-lifting, so I'm struggling to overcome that. I'm working on that with the help of a postural therapist and a chiropractor, and I'm working around my limitations. For example, I've switched from the dumbbell chest press to a whole lot of pushups because my vertebrae reposition themselves for the worse when I use heavy weights (45-60 pounds). My goals

I set a land speed record on my way home from work at a whopping 29.5 miles per hour, up from my previous record of 27.5.

Chin-up boo-boo

I injured myself starting my last set of chin-ups today.  I reached for the handles, jumped, and missed with my left hand, hitting my ring and pinky fingers on the square support beam instead.  Ouch.  But don't worry, I don't need you to kiss it better.  I'm trying this thing where I act like a big boy.  Anyway, then I repeated the process, minus the part where I hurt myself.  So I got my last set in.  It turned out to be a set of one, as I was rather exhausted from the rest of my workout.  My fingers still hurt like a bugger for a few minutes, this...
