I had always been active, was a gymnast growing up and after I was finished with competing in that i was a cheerleader, ran cross country and track. After high school I enlisted in the Army and actually broke my femur so i got a medical discharge out and was pretty much on bed rest for 6 monthes. I gained weight, and just didn't lose it for years. Last year I got sick of talking about it and acted. I lost around 60 lbs and now im trying to build some muscle and gain a little bit of the control I lost while "dieting".
Why I Love It:
I don't love working out. I love the outcome I get from working out, and thats what gets me through my work outs.
How I Stay Motivated:
Thinking of how great I'll feel in a few weeks after that work out, where I'll see what the work out has done to my body. Also being able to eat knowing I can because I worked out and can use extra calories.
Within the past few years after i broke my femur, I was inactive and lost sight of fitness and nutrition. I haven't been comfortable in my own skin since then. Even after losing the weight, now I get assumed too be scrawny or weak and I want for once to be happy with what i see in the mirror, and for people to know I'm determined when they see me in my bathing suit and see the muscles I've worked for.

Cardio: 30 minutes-1 hour usually. Always changing it up. Either stair climber and stationary bike, or go to the track and do sprint walk intervals or run bleachers and walk. Just depends on...
