How I Started:
Hired a trainer to add variety in my workouts. He convinced me weight training would transform my body more than a daily 90 min. cardio fiesta. He was right! I saw results quick, and now I'm sculpting away to a stronger, tighter body one day at a time. It's just me and the iron now. No one can take this away! I've been a fitness freak ever since. Thank you Ryan!
Why I Love It:
I'm a control freak, good to know you can manipulate how you look regardless of all that mumbo jumbo about "genetics, if you're male/female,etc". I started seeing results very fast and am working towards competing onstage. When I'm lifting, it's just me and the iron! I'm in another world and I enjoy the mind to muscle connection. "mind over matter" people! The results flow into other areas of your life, and you DEMAND results in every other aspects including but not limited to: career, relationships, personal issues, etc. I've been told there are two types of people: those who build and leave a stamp, and those that **** everything up. I'm a builder and will promise to leave this world a little better than how I entered it.
How I Stay Motivated:
I have set a goal to compete in a figure competition next June (2009). I constantly change the pictures of fitness/figure icons on my fridge! I take new pics every week and analyze changes. Oh and can't forget, I am logged on this site almost all day at work! Plus, I have an everlasting burning drive within me that's so contagious, you can't help but feed off of it. With my laser sharp ambition and work ethic, I get closer to my goals everyday. "JenCan training harder than before and always stronger than yesterday!"
BB Accomplishments:
Lost several (4 to be exact) pant sizes in 3 months. Gained some shapely shoulders and half a horseshoe on my tricep :) Can see shoulder/bicep separation and have successfully stayed on a clean diet to accelerate sculpting done at gym! Everything is getting taken care of, I WILL compete!

I am officially in competition mode. Training everyday for the purpose of bringing the best JenCan package to the Universe stage in Miami on June 20th. All we have is the PRESENT, the NOW. Why I like this video: It's the figure champ! I watch this video at 4.59 pm everyday before I hit the gym and while I'm taking my protein shake. I feed off her energy and I will get to her size if I die in the process!!

Leg day tomorrow at the gym at 11 am to train with a 280 lbs Michigan wolverine football lineman. We train legs together. I want16 plates on the leg press and 10 on the hack squat machine, and 8 plates on the olympic bar for squats ===I am talking 45lbs a plate. I bring the intensity . I am getting the itch to compete again ==after over 15 years away from bodybuilding.
eva, no problem. uma pray for ya, real talk. keep it up, its impressive, you look great, and accomplishments are a journey. rememba walk by faith, and u dont need sight.
God fixes everything. but you have to take the wisdom he gives you, and utilize it, for it is the lords council which guides you, and keeps your path straight. thats interesting, utilize it, and although whtever you may seek will be a difficult journey, if you perservere in faith there is no doubt you will accomplish it.
