It started in Jr. High, Texas football thing, coaches had you training like you were pro. I started to like it in 1991 when we got an assistant coach who was into powerlifting. He got about 10-15 of us into meets around East Texas.
Why I Love It:
The stress relief, energy to make through the day and the renewed feeling of life you get.
How I Stay Motivated:
The thought of being able play with and keep up with my future child/children. Getting back into skateboarding, mountain biking and improved disc golf game. I need to lose weight for health concerns, to improve my self confidence. IT started gnawing at the back of my mind. After seeing myself in photos at my cousins wedding, I no longer like what I am seeing. I want to be sexy for my wife and not embarrassed when I take my shirt off at the pool.
- I keep reminding myself this is what I want. Kind of like that car, TV. house, bf or gf...but this is truly for me and no one will take this away and I will feel better than ever once I make it.
BB Accomplishments:
Completing a full workout.
I did 1.6 miles on the treadmill at a fast paced walk and didn't need a break. Might not be a big deal but after laying up in the hospital for a month and not working our for 3 years, this is huge.
It's been some time since I have said anything here, been on facebook lately. But here's a few updates.
Current focus is getting my A+ before the end of this month. I have been and will continue to focus on that till the 26 and 28 of this month. Will pas on results good or bad.
James, thanks for the add. Feel free to hit me up with any questions anytime. It appears you have come back from a signifcant wieght gain, which is no easy feat!
So far i am trying to do a lot of cardio to get my weight down. I go to the gym at least 4 times a week to do legs, abs, and some arms. I have to get a regular schedule started again.
